Morales Family Coat of Arms is: Quarterly, first and fourth or, a mulberry bush on a base vert, second and third argent, three bars sable. Gold or “or” dnotes generosity.
Morales Family History is: The ancestral seat or home of the Morales family is located in Cudeyn, in Santander, from wher they moved to Soria and dounded the place Morales. Here they were lords of one of the twelve noble houses of the city. They were mighty warriors and excelled and distinguished the family in the conquests of Baeza and Seville and a branch of the family was established there by Juan de Morales. The Knight commander of Alcania was Lope de Morales and his brother Rodrigo de Morales died as the bishop of Badajoa. From these descended the noble surname of the Bishopric of Jaen who later moved with the conquest of the Canary Islands.
The Morales’s also established residence in the village of Estapa (Seville) and from them descended Diego Morales, who married Mariana del Castillo parents of Diego Morales del Castillo who later married Maria Ramos de Monguia born in Arjonilla who were parents of Diego Sebastian Morales Ramos, of the Council of his Majesty, secretary in the Royal Order and Knight of the order of Santiago, July 10th1686.
In America Juan Carloc y Leon was baptised in 1557 and he was the lagal counselor of the Royal Audience of Santiago in Chile, he was the Mayor in 1593, Lieutenant Magistrate in 1598,Auditor General of the Kingdom for 16 years,Magistrate of Concepcion and Realtor of the Royal Audience of Chile in 1617. He sure did a lot and certainly did the name Morales proud.
