 Valuable Collectibles,

A wonderful collectible item that was sold in the last numbers of years was the football jersey worn by Pele the footballer from Brazil, and it was sold for $224,ooo. He wore it in 1970 world cup final. There are fabulous collectibles from sports legends like Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ally or George Best the famous Irishman who played soccer for England, Pat Taffe that wonderful jockey who rode for the Queen and at on stage fell foul of the inland revenue and had a holiday at her majesty’s pleasure (in other words –did a little jail time — or porridge).

You have seen players like Tiger Woods throwing his golf ball in to the crowd or Denis Rodman throwing his jerseys in to the crowd after the games. The basket ball player is one of the people you want to get something from as this will be very valuable.

Types of Collectibles!                                                 collectible

Boxing gloves, tennis balls, golf balls, menus from great occasions, medals, sports jerseys, tickets to concerts and sports occasions, religious items, posters, coins from various countries ( I have some Iraqi Dinars from the time of Saddam Hussein ) and also toys such as limited editions. The older the collectible the more valuable it may be.

Care for your Collectible!

While seeking out collectibles is great fun and may turn out very profitable, but do remember that the condition of it is very important if you intention is to sell it. Therefore, for example if you are a collector of vintage wines, you first want to do a little research as to how to store lets say red wine and also the temperature to store at, if you don’t know this your wine may become worthless. So remember value is equal to age, condition and quantity available.
